My motto is “TO BE OF SERVICE TO OTHERS”

​

I come from a family of architects and have studied and worked in architecture and interior design.

 

I am a Swiss-Venezuelan architect who lived in Venezuela until completing my undergraduate degree.

 

My interests and curiosities led me to Boston, where my innate attraction to service inspired me to study Community Environmental Studies at Tufts University. During my studies, I worked for an NGO in housing development in East Boston, starting as an intern and eventually designing two three-story homes for their Gut Rehab Program. Seeking further growth, I pursued Urban Development at the Graduate School of Design at Harvard University. These experiences shaped what would become my purpose.

 

I have had the opportunity to live in several countries with different cultures and languages, and in each place, I have been able to practice selfless service to others.

 

From projects like a 7000 m² hospital in Cancun, Mexico,  where I planned and delivered the interior design in four months by collaborating with local providers, to serving as Vice President of the Management Committee of the Lycée Français Paul Gauguin in Panama, where I was tasked with the interior architecture project for an extension due to the school's rapid growth, to co-founding V&M Architecture in Caracas, where we handled both architecture and interior design projects. In each role, I found balance and meaning through service.

 

In 2017, we moved back to Geneva. After moving seven times in 14 years across four different countries, we decided to make Geneva our home. We bought a house, redesigned part of it, managed the building process to ensure it was delivered on time, and moved in by 2019. I had been of service to my family, providing them with a stable and organized home. Now, it was time to return to serving others. In 2019, I founded monArchitecture, where my purpose is to serve you and your space.

 

These years have only strengthened my genuine desire to help. With the skills I have developed in architecture, my expertise in change, relocation, and adaptation, and starting anew in different places, the best service I can offer is space design.
